1.5 ground beef
¼ cup bread crumbs
1 Tbs worcestershire sauce
1 onion small (sliced)
1 cup mushrooms (sliced)
2 Tbs butter
¼ cup beef broth
⅓ cup heavy cream
1 tsp arrow root
In a medium bowl combine ground beef, bread crumbs, worcestershire sauce, 1 tbs. of the house seasoning OR all purpose seasoning, and egg
Combine with hands until well blended.
Shape beef mixture into patties
Add patties to hot skillet and cook on both sides for approx. 3 minutes
Remove patties (no worries, they will continue cooking in the gravy) and place in the oven to keep warm.
To the same skillet add onions and mushrooms saute for 3 minutes
Add butter, arrow root, the remaining house seasoning, combine.
Next add heavy cream, and beef broth, combine
Return hamburger steaks to skillet, cover and reduce heat to low.
Cook for 15 - 20 minutes
Serve over cauliflower rice or cauliflower mash.
